Dear Sir,
Thank you for providing a free service on our fire extinguishers and supply two brackets at no charge. This is much appreciated as it is part of the preparation and ongoing maintenance of the safety of the Hikitia Floating Crane heavy lift ship.
The ship was successfully towed to Lyttelton in June this year, was docked there for hull work and is now undergoing further painting work on a lay up dock in Lyttelton.
We are planning to return the ship to Wellington in late October 2009.

Dear Sir,
Thank you very much again for your firm's kind donation to Steam Incorporated regarding the servicing of the train and site's fire extinguishers, a total of 15 units. I refer you to your zero priced Invoice No. 183593 dated 31 January 2009, and acknowledge on behalf of the Society once again the generosity of your firm.
Last year was a most busy time for the Society's heritage train activities, and the major activity of the year 2008 would have been (in most members minds), the 6 day run to and from Auckland in August 2008, for the "Parliamentary Special" train in celebration of the Centenary of the North Island Main Trunk railway, and the returning "Governor's Special" service back to Paekakariki.
Then there was the Art Deco Weekend in February 2008. Again, this year, the activities were spread over 4 days, Day 1 from Paekakariki to Napier, Day 2 the all day Friday run to and from Wairoa. On Day 3, the Saturday, there was the return trip to Otane for the "Pea, Pie, Pud" dinner. And finally on day 4 there was the Sunday morning run to the Holts Memorial Forest at Waikoau and the magical location in the forest for the Picnic, was again very popular. Then later that afternoon, the train began the return from Napier to Paekakariki after the 4 days away, only to be delayed in the Central Hawkes Bay because of the heat speed restrictions so a rather late arrival back into Paekakariki was experienced.
Very shortly, on Thursday 19th, the train leaves again for this time 5 days at Napier for the 2009 Art Deco activities so we look forward to another great time in the Hawkes Bay.

Sorry about the delay in getting back to you yesterday as I got side tracked and ended up dealing with a crocodile which took up the rest of the day.
